Welcome to Fundraising Friday
A lot of people (myself included) talk regularly about fundraising “best practices” and the “art and science” of fundraising.
What I think we’re trying to get at is the idea that there are established, time-tested principles that apply to fundraising just like any other profession.
What works? What doesn’t? Etc.
I’ve collected a LOT of these principles and ideas over the years, and I realized the other day that I’ve never taken the time to sort through them and list them all out one by one.
Fundraising Friday is the place where I plan to do that.
Starting next Friday, I’ll share one idea per week as I attempt to organize and distill my thoughts on the art and science of nonprofit fundraising.
